Quiero ser lolita pero... ¿Cómo empiezo?
Has visto millones de fotos, ojeado miles de revistas, te encanta todo lo relacionado con el lolita y estás preparada para dar el paso final y aventurarte a ser una de ellas.
Ser lolita es una cosa fantástica... pero si no tienes más contactos que tú misma e internet, a veces se puede estar un poco perdida. ¿Qué necesito? ¿Dónde compro? ¿Por donde empiezo?
Este post no pretende, ni mucho menos, ser una guía absoluta de cómo empezar con el lolita, pero si pretende a daros una pequeña pista y animaros a que investiguéis más.

Being a lolita is a fantastic thing… but if you don't know more people in the lolita's community and you only have internet, sometimes you could be a little lost. What do I need? Where can I buy? How can I start?
This post doesn’t pretend to be a full guide of how to start with lolita’s style, but maybe I can give you some tips and encourage you to investigate more about it.
Para mi, la parte más importante del lolita es la ropa *^* No me voy a centrar en estilos (para elegir que estilo os gusta más/queréis seguir ya tenéis mis otros post: tipos I y tipos II) ya que estoy hablando de cosas generales ;)
I think that the most important thing for a lolita is the coordinate. I’m not going to focus on the styles (you have my other posts: type I and type II where you can see more about styles) but in the general aspects.
¿Qué cosas básicas necesito?
What basic things do I need?
1- Un vestido mono:
O puede ser una falda. O un "tres piezas". Depende de lo que quieras llevar. Digo vestido porque es por lo que normalmente se suele tener más ilusión por empezar. El caso es que, para mi, es la parte principal y con lo que puedes empezar a construir el conjunto entero. Si tienes el vestido digamos que tienes el 40% del trabajo hecho.
A cute dress:
Or can be a skirt. Or a "three-piece suit". I said dress 'cause is usually what we want to buy it first. In my opinion it’s the most important part and you can start thinking about the whole outfit when you have it. If you have the dress, you have the 40% of the work done.
2-Una blusa:
Puede ser de invierno o verano. Dependiendo el estilo, esta incluso puede ser inútil (por ejemplo yo que llevo wa-lolita y utilizamos un tres piezas que está formado por la parte que parece el kimono, el "obi" y la falda. Ahí no hay blusa posible. O las Qi-lolita igual...), pero salvando las excepciones, creo que es una de las prendas primordiales. Imprescindible sí o sí para mi si sólo optas por falda y no por vestido ^^
A blouse:
It could be for summer or winter. Depending the style, it could be useless (for example, I usually dress wa-lolita… and we normally wear a “three-piece outfit” that consist of the part that looks like the kimono, the “obi” and the skirt. There’s no possible blouse . The same happens with Qi-lolita…), but excluding these exceptions, the blouse is one of the important points. And I think it’s very essential if you decide to start with only the skirt.
3-Un par de zapatos:
Imprescindibles, por supuesto. Acorde con el estilo y con los colores que hayas elegido. O quizá que resalten. A ser posible siempre con un poco de tacón.
A pair of shoes:
They should macht with the style that you are wearing and the colours. If it’s possible with a bit of heel.
4- Pettiecoat:
Yo lo llamaba Petie, de ahí el error en la imagen xP
Es una "falda" por así decirlo, que se pone debajo del vestido/falda principal y da volumen y vuelo. Imprescindible también ^^
Pettiecoat:
It’s a kind of “skirt” that is used under the main dress/skirt and it creates volume and it makes the skirt/dress very full. It is also essential.
5- Medias:
O leggins, o calcetas, o leotardos. Lo que prefiráis. El caso es no dejar toooda la pierna desnuda ^^u A no ser, que seas una ero-loli, por ejemplo.
A pair of tights:
Or leggings, long socks, thick tights… Whatever you want. The thing is that you cannot leave the legs naked, unless you want to be an ero-loli.
6-Accesorios:
Al menos algo para la cabeza. Porque esto es un mundo. Hay miles y miles de ellos: collares, anillos, pulseras, etc, etc. Pero al menos, hay que tener algo de eso, para "embellecer" nuestro conjunto.
Accessories:
Something for the head. Accessories have a whole world, there are a lot of things: necklaces, rings, bracelets… At least, you need some of these things in order to “beautify” our outfit.
Y con esto terminaría las prendas básicas. En cuando a ¿Dónde comprar? Pues, eso es un todo mundo a parte:

- La primera opción suele ser bodyline. Noo es tan caro como comprar directamente primeras marcas como Angelic Pretty y tiene bastante variedad de estilos y precios.
-The first option use to be Bodyline. Is more cheap than first brands like Angelic Pretty and you have a lot of styles and prices
-Madame Chocolat es una tienda española situada en Barcelona. Tiene tanto cosas de primera como de segunda mano y ropa de más estilos (steampunk, gyaru...).
-Madame Chocolat is a spanish shop located in Barcelona. They have new and second hand clothes and also more clothes styles like steampunk or gyaru.
-Indrolita puede ser menos conocida, pero también tiene cosas a considerar =)
-Indrolita is less famous, but it also have good things =)
Siempre queda Taobao, el e-bay chino por excelencia (o probar en el propio e-bay).
También probar suerte en DeviantArt. Hay muy buenos artistas vendiendo ropa preciosa.
We only have the choice of Taobao, the chinesse e-bay (you also can try the normal e-bay)
You can try on DevianArt as well; there are a lot of good artists selling cute clothes.

Aunque yo de tiendas no soy un gurú precisamente, creo que a partir de aquí investigando conseguiréis muchas más =) Siempre os podéis pasar por los salones, mirar y coger tarjetas de las tiendas o asaltar a alguna lolita e interrogarla X3
Although I’m not a “guru” of shops, I think that from here you can investigate more things =) In addition, you can go to some convention, see and take cards of some shops or just bombard some Lolita with questions X3
Unos pequeños consejillos finales ^^
Some final tips:
-Si no tenéis dinero para comprarlo todo de golpe, yo prefiero esperar a tenerlo todo, que luce más que no ir sólo con el vestido, o algo así ^^ A mi siempre me ha reconfortado más ver el conjunto completo *^* La espera merece la pena -^^-
-If you don't have the money to buy all, wait until you have the dress and the pettie at least :) To me, the dress itself doesn't really "show off" 'cause the volume is missing.
-Si no tienen vuestra talla, mirad si os pueden hacer unos arreglillos, pero no so embutáis en los vestidos. A parte de que una no está cómoda, puede ser incluso peligroso en caso de que os esté muy ceñido al pecho. Ante todo, comodidad. Que ya bastante "tenemos que soportar" pelucas y accesorios varios ;)
-If they don’t have your size, ask them if they can do some alterations for you or look if you can do some arrangements, but DON’T push yourself into the dress by the force. You have to wear it comfy, 'cause the most important thing is the comfort! :)
-A la hora de interaccionar con otras lolitas para mi es importante el respeto y la humildad (la buena humildad XD). Es importante ser amables las unas con las otras y si una está en desacuerdo con otra, siempre hay maneras educadas de expresarse. También, aporta críticas constructivas, no palabras venenosas por la espalda.
- When you have to interact with some Lolita, it’s important to be respectful and modest (the good modesty XD). It’s important to be nice with each other and you have a lot of polite answers if you disagree with some Lolita, so, use them =) Also, make constructive reviews =)

ReplyDeleteUna entrada muy interesante , siempre he querido ir de Lolita alguna vez en algun evento y demas ,asi que tomo buena nota de tus consejos y cotilleara las tiendas y demas que propones e investigare y si veo algo interesante te lo digo .
Si tienes tiempo me gustaria mucho que hicieras otra entrada igual que esta pero para las que queremos empezar en el mundo gyaru ;)

Mira que yo tengo vestidos lolitas medias y demas pero mi gran pendiente siempre han sido los zapatos, que siempre se los pido a una amiga XDD.

Hola yo ya soy una sweet lolita con 10 vestidos y unos 5 petti coats mas el resto dr accesorios y zapatos + calcetines. Me costo años conseguir unos vestidos tan adirables pero te advierto que son muy caros. Mi familia no esta de acuerdo aunque sea de Harajuku pero yo voy a mi bola. Por cierto vivo en Benidorm voy de lolita por la calle con mi mejor amuga llamada Tsubasa y yo siy Eiki, mi mejor amiga es de Kioto.
